The work I do — whether it's writing, research, radio, or community education — is predominantly unpaid and unfunded. I don’t have institutional backing or corporate sponsorship. What I do have is a deep commitment to truth-telling, political education, and creating accessible content that supports collective liberation.

This work takes a lot of time. The research, writing, recording, editing, speaking, and behind-the-scenes organising all require countless unpaid hours. Even though I offer it freely, it still costs money to produce. There are ongoing expenses like website hosting, podcast and recording tools, research access, travel, and more. When I am paid for work, it's usually just enough to cover travel and food costs, not to make a living.
